Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin, Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, informed this information in a circular on Saturday (June 10).
He said, "The official Facebook page of Dhaka Electric Company Limited (DESCO) has been hacked by miscreants. At present all concerned cyber teams including DESCO are working to recover the said page.
Aslam Uddin also said, 'Until the page is restored, everyone is specially requested to refrain from exchanging any message and avoid any post on the said page. Everyone will be notified after the page is recovered.
